Notable Moments

  • The YouTube livestream tracking feature was battle-tested in real time on the final night of Ramadan (Night 30). A caching issue was discovered and resolved within minutes, resulting in the events page correctly displaying the live status with over 200 concurrent viewers.
  • The Quran Player received a fix during Ramadan that allows users to seek back to the Bismillah when rewinding to the start of a surah. Previously, seeking backward would only return to the beginning of the surah audio without replaying the Bismillah.
  • The homepage banner automatically switched from "Ramadan Mubarak" to "Eid Mubarak" based on each visitor's local date, so visitors in time zones where Eid had already begun saw the Eid greeting while others still fasting saw the Ramadan greeting.
  • The Ramadan 2026 resource playlists from Yaqeen Institute, Bayyinah, Mufti Menk, and Dr. Suleiman Hani were among the most visited pages during the month.

By the Numbers

  • 30 Taraweeh nights recorded and archived with actual start and end times.
  • 10 Qiyam night specials during the last ten nights.
  • 40 total events with YouTube livestream integration.
  • 4 Ramadan resource playlists published.
  • 2 blog posts documenting new features and accessibility improvements.
  • Zero WCAG 2.2 Level AA violations maintained throughout the month.
